Welcome to Q‑it Dog Training
Positive Reinforcement, Science-Backed, and Force Free.
Welcome to Q‑it Dog Training, a place where learning is fun, progress is encouraged, and both dogs and their people feel supported every step of the way.
Based in Prince Edward Island, Q‑it proudly serves dog owners in Charlottetown, Souris, and surrounding areas.

Meet Tressia & Q‑it
My name is Tressia, and I am lucky enough to have shared my entire life with a house full of dogs. Whether puppies from exceptional breeders to rescues from the shelter, each dog has shaped my outlook and perspective on life.
I currently share my life and home with four Border Collies: Jetta, Sparks, Deluxe, and Whirlwind.
Q‑it is a fun play on words: “Cue” is a positive way to ask your dog to perform a behaviour with the opportunity to earn reinforcement, and in agility you earn Qs for qualifying runs. I thought it was a fun way to bring together positive reinforcement training and my favourite dog sport.

Training Rooted in Science, Delivered Through Play
At Q‑it Dog Training, everything is built on positive reinforcement and force-free training methods. That means we focus on teaching dogs what to do, rather than correcting what not to do.
Using game-based learning, training becomes something dogs actively enjoy. They’re engaged, motivated, and eager to participate, which leads to faster learning and more reliable behaviour over time.
