What Is Dog Agility?

Dog agility is a dog sport that creates a strong team between you and your dog.

The handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race against time and accuracy. When competing, dogs run off leash with no food or toys in the ring and the handler can touch neither dog nor obstacles.

The handler’s cues are limited to voice and body motion, requiring exceptional training of the dog and coordination of the handler.

Who Is Agility For?

What makes agility unique among dog sports is the partnership it builds. Success doesn’t rely on force or correction, it depends on communication, trust, and teamwork.

Through positive reinforcement, dogs learn to focus, build confidence, and develop impressive physical and mental skills.

Just as important, agility is fun. Many people start simply looking for an engaging activity for their dog and quickly discover how addictive the sport can be.

Reactive Dogs Training

Does your dog struggle around other dogs?

Reactive dog classes are designed specifically for dogs who need a little extra space and understanding to thrive.

These small, carefully structured classes allow each dog to work one at a time in a safe, low-stress environment, so your dog can focus, build confidence, and learn new skills without feeling overwhelmed.

Using positive reinforcement and agility as an engaging training tool, you and your dog will work at a comfortable pace while making real progress.

Classes are available for both dogs new to agility and those with previous experience, making reactive dog training an accessible and supportive option for teams who need a different approach.
